Investing for good quality and a favourable price
The Bernhard family thinks that a good price-to-quality ratio is important. The rose nursery and the Phalaenopsis greenhouse are clustered, so that the excess heat and CO2 released can be utilized around the clock. Bram: ‘Roses need a great deal of light and CO2. The Phalaenopsis only wants a great deal of heat and only uses CO2 at night. We are now guaranteed of a sustainable energy supply. In combination with our heat cluster, we can deliver quality at a favourable price.
